The osteopathy

If osteopathy is not recognized in France as a medicine but a technical care, the results leave no doubt about its effectiveness.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a discipline that views the body as a set of parts (bones, organs, joints ...) all interconnected. It aims to restore a balance between all these components to achieve harmony and thus the health of the patient.

The osteopath performs pressure and stretching on the parties to address as well as cranial and spinal manipulation. This technique is gentle and safe for the baby.

Who practices osteopathy?

The osteopath may be a doctor or physiotherapist trained annex, or a person having formed in a school of osteopathy. In all cases, the osteopath should be able to justify his training to become established. As a discipline "non-medical" consultations are not reimbursed by social security.

What are the benefits of osteopathy?

Osteopathy can relieve one from the mother of the evils of pregnancy, including addressing tension and back pain and digestive problems. It then allows the mother to prepare for childbirth by correcting a wrong position of the pelvis - which will be severely tested during childbirth - and promoting its mobility so it can better adapt. Finally, osteopathy relieves mothers who still feel intense pain after childbirth.
