Dinah Rodriguez was created 18 years ago, "Hormon Yoga" to help women cope with problems and symptoms related to hormonal imbalance and menopause. A natural alternative to hormone replacement therapy which, according to research conducted in Germany in 2002, are dangerous to health.
A graduate of the University of Sao Pauloen psychology and philosophy, Dinah Rodriguez, yoga therapist from Brazil, invented in 1991 a series of exercises to reactivate the hormones. With 45 years of yoga behind her, a thorough study of ancient texts on yoga, and an exploration of the practice of qi-gong, Dinah Rodriguez comprises a sequence that combines dynamic postures and breathing techniques intense (Bashtrika). It is also developing a specific work on the glands (ovaries, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal) from an adaptation of postures of Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga, a technique associated with Tibetan movement of energy.
